Content is King…
Go ahead and Google the phrase “Content is King” and you’ll find over 73 million links ranging from blogs, businesses, colleges, music labels and everything in between. The idea that “Content is king” first was brought to my attention my good friend Sean Sperte, check out his blog, he was the man behind encouraging me to put my thoughts on virtual paper, aka the web. I know what you’re thinking, bro your like ten years too late, well it’s not about being first to market its about setting yourself apart within the context of the market, it’s about being the best in the market. You got to give the people what they want-you see what’s out there is simply a blueprint; it’s a sketch waiting to be interpreted and redrawn.
Content describes that which is contained in a given proximity, so the idea of writing a blog was exciting yet realizing the depth and reach of that which would be written is only as good as the content of my life. The content of one’s life, that which has been contained over a span of some many years, influenced by events, shaped by culture, skewed by emotions, it’s all a part of who you are and the content that your life contains waiting to be viewed by millions of people.
“Content is King” and the question is what it’s your container, what content is worth sharing and what content do we keep hidden, the content that at times is revealed is the good stuff while at times the hidden content could better be classified as the forbidden content. Lets allow the content, both revealed and hidden, to be shaped by the one who created content. My greatest desire is that my words on this blog, the content of my life would inspire, motivate, and create vision in the lives of people and they would fulfill their dreams, because “Content is King.”
